Fulfilling and desperately needed: Australian media representations of responses to homelessness

Homelessness is a significant social issue that continues to confront Australian society, despite burgeoning public and policy responses the issue. Existing scholarship demonstrates important role media can play in shaping such by framing homelessness – people who experience it particular ways. However, date there has been limited focus on how represents homelessness, or representations might influence perceptions of appropriateness current responses.
